Costumes of the twenties

The twenties is the decade of “jazz age” and “Art Déco” in which fashion entered the modern era.

Women abandoned the restricting clothes of past years. Knee length skirts and dresses became socially acceptable. Suits men wear today are still based for the most part on those worn in the late 1920’s
